Motion Design Manager / Art Director

As a Motion Design Manager / Art Director you will lead a team of motion designers and work with producers to strategize and execute on a variety of motion design projects for global brands and enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and producers to ensure the deliverables are on brand and in line with the brief
• Use your motion design expertise to lead and mentor a team of motion designers
• Look for ways to continuously improve Konrad's motion design process
• Help to recruit and build out the motion design team at Konrad

Successful candidates will have

• A minimum of 3 years experience in leading teams of motion designers and executing on projects from initial client meeting to final render
• The ability to balance client needs, technical limitations, timelines, and budgets while producing engaging motion graphics
• A history of successfully led projects demonstrated by a strong portfolio of motion graphics and video work
• Meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for typography, visual hierarchy and natural motion
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro, and an eagerness to learn new tools. Experience with Cinema4D, Maya and other 3D animation programs is a plus
• Clear and effective communication skills in articulating design concepts and rationales
• Positive attitude with a desire to grow within a collaborative, inspiring teamwork environment
• Experience with interaction design and UI animations is a plus
